Scotty Rausenberger
With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry working with some of the best creative minds in the world, COVID forced Scotty to pivot into a new arena or theatre. Photography. Scotty compares the image inside the view finder of a camera to a proscenium in a theatre. Your canvas is limited by the four sides of the rectangle. What you choose to put inside the rectangle ultimately sets you apart from everyone else.
When COVID hit and forced the world to shut down, we all believed it would be a mandatory break from our day to day lives and a chance to lay low. Scotty took the opportunity during quarantine to study for and take the Part 107 test for his commercial drone pilot license. He wanted to leave quarantine better than he entered. Once Scotty passed the test and no sign of live events opening, he took the time to start marketing himself in the real estate world for aerial photos. He quickly realized that there was more to offer real estate agents than just aerial photos. He invested in some camera equipment and was offered his fist listing.
The Fall sports season of 2021 rolled around and Scotty started attending more high school sports events, taking pictures of the events. It quickly became a passion and has created some amazing relationships along the way. His acceptance into the MAXPreps national professional sports photographers' network has helped set him apart.
Scotty enjoys spending time with his boys Tyler, Parker & Cooper when they aren't running to a shoot or photographing birds of prey in the Hudson Valley, NY
